Linux System Administrator (m/f/div)
Aufgaben:
The chosen candidate will take a leading role in maintaining and further developing the MPCDF data services.
Qualifikationen:
The applicant should ideally hold a degree in an IT-related area and should be familiar with modern DevOps procedures as well as the operation of data-driven (web) services.
Good knowledge of Linux system administration
Programming and scripting experience (Python, Bash)
Creativity for problem solving under changing conditions
Ability to realize concrete solutions
Good communication skills (in English and German)
Beneficial skills:
Experience in the administration of self-hosted GitLab instances or similar web-based services
Familiarity with automation (Ansible or similar technologies) and virtualization techniques (VMWare, Proxmox)
Interest in science and research
